    Description

    [MANUSCRIPT]. American Sermons.  c. 1853.   16 x 8 cm   Marbled boards and calf as depicted.  Lightly penned throughout (strains the eyes to read). Old note to inside cover states 'bought of Mr(s) Frisby 1853.     Old pencil note to inside cover states "Mormon sermons "   I do not see with a very cursory inspection anything clearly Mormon related- albeit I am not knowledgeable about the Mormon religion.  Nevertheless, I would have to say these appear to be just likely mid 19th century American religious sermons and not necessarily Mormon.   Google mentions a  "Joseph Hyrum Frisby" but I do not know if that relates to the Frisby mentioned.  Unstudied and sold "as is"
