Here is a very large antique letter book that belonged to a Los Angeles attorney named William M. Hiatt. It contains copies of letters he wrote between the years 1893 - 1896. There is a variety of subject matter. The letters are on thin, tracing-type paper. The book has 700+ pages. The front has an alphabetical listing of the people/entities that letters are addressed to, followed by the page number where the letter appears. It's organized very well. There is some bleed through on certain letters. A small number are typed. The cover has a repair. The book measures 11" x 8" x 1.75". The spine is missing the covering.
Covers have a lot of wear.
