    Description

    1913 Flood City of Indianapolis appreciation of service award. This was appreciation certificate given to a William Dauch from the City of Indianapolis for his efforts for helping during the flood of 1913. It is unknown if the man is the one in the printed photo. This is a machine printed document also signed by , the at the time, police chief and members of the board of public safety. It is in a 9.5" x 7.5" brass colored frame. I have not opened it and assume it to be an original frame. The paper does look a bit spotty and looks to be old mold spots.
